Work Shadowing

The Wessex Group of Sixth Form Colleges has a work shadowing scheme for all of its staff.  The purpose of the scheme is to provide opportunities for staff to learn in some depth how colleagues in other colleges operate.  The reasons they might want to do this include:

• Preparation for promotion and/or career development – which might involve shadowing a more senior member of staff in another college;
• Development opportunity to learn about different approaches – this might involve shadowing peers undertaking similar roles in another college;
• Project Management – which might involve shadowing someone who is leading a particular aspect of a staff member’s current or future role.
  

Wessex Group staff interested in applying to take part in the scheme should email Group Manager and enclose a completed Work Shadowing Application Form
