Student Governor Training
This two part course is for new or fairly new College Student Governors. Delegates will be covering a range of topics to help them fulfil their role of Student Governor and strengthen their ‘student voice’. It also creates an opportunity to meet students in similar situations and form a network for further sharing of ideas and experience beyond the structured sessions. Before each session, venue information and any papers, for example, programme details or course preparation will be sent. Please bring pen and paper on the day.
Session two: Wednesday 11 January 2023
- delegates to explore their experience and provide opportunities to build their skills for engagement, leadership and governance in areas of their choosing
These topics will be led by specialist trainers Unloc, with additional contributions from experienced clerks and governors.
This course is suitable for delegates from all types of college governance structures.
Booking is done via your college Staff Development Officer for the whole of the 2-part course. It is useful to know of any dietary requirements and accessibility needs.
